چکیده
The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect rearing systems and genotypes on production performance egg quality. Isa Brown New Hampshire were used in study. These two housed floor organic systems. During experimental period, which lasted one year (52 weeks), following parameters recorded: production, daily mass, feed consumption, conversion efficiency, mortality. Fifteen eggs per group collected for analysis at 64 weeks hen age. samples evaluated external (egg weight shape index), internal (albumen height, Haugh unit, proportions albumen, yolk shell), eggshell quality (shell thickness, shell deformation breaking strength), eggs’ chemical composition (dry matter, minerals, protein lipids). Generally, hens had better than hens. At same time, layers performed floor-reared ones. Genotype a significant all ten (external, quality), system independently affected only weight, interaction observed factors significantly influenced seven parameters. three four parameters, while no established eggs. x genotype content.

Effects of laying hens housing system on laying performance, egg quality characteristics, and egg microbial contamination
The objective of this study was to compare the performance, egg quality, and microbial contamination of egg shells from hens maintained in different housing systems, such as conventional and enriched cages, litter, and aviaries. The housing system significantly (P < 0.001) influenced the performance characteristics. The highest egg production, lowest daily feed consumption, and feed conversion ...
متن کاملProductive performance and egg quality of brown egg-laying hens in the late phase of production as influenced by level and source of calcium in the diet.
A total of 1,152 Lohmann Brown laying hens were used to study the influence of level (3.5 and 4.0%) and source (coded FIN, COA, and OYS) of Ca in the diet on productive performance and egg quality from 58 to 73 wk of age. The FIN diet contained all the Ca carbonate as fine limestone (LIM). In the COA and OYS diets, 40% of the fine LIM was substituted with either coarse LIM or oyster shell. Each...
متن کاملInteractive Influence of Formycine® Gold and Pigment on Egg Quality and Performance of Laying Hens
Sodium bentonite can bind to dietary pigment and decreases yolk color scale. Sodium bentonite is one of the main parts of Formycine® Gold, the effect of different levels of Formycine® Gold and dietary pigment on egg quality, egg yolk color and performance criteria of laying hens from 26 to 34 week of age were studied. One hundred ninety two Hy-Line hens were divided into 24 groups of 8 birds ea...

In this experiment, the effects of fennel and thyme extracts with and without flaxseed were investigated on performance and egg quality of Leghorn-type laying hens (Hy-Line W-36). 200 laying hens from 26 to 38 weeks of age were assigned to five dietary treatments with five replications. The treatment groups were: 1) Control (a diet without any additives); 2) control diet plus fennel (40 mg/kg f...
